Car sickness with your dogs

Some dogs suffer from motion sickness but the symptoms aren’t just throwing up.  They can include yawning, drooling and whimpering.  If opening the windows doesn’t help then there are calming collars and medications that you try but often it’s a good idea to ask your vet first.

Using a harness to secure your dog may help, too.

One of our dogs has never really been excited to travel either in the car or on a train, however, over the years he is happier especially as he loves the lovely, long walk or a family visit to a pub that comes at the end of the journey.
